Inside Coding Agents: What Survives Between Sessions

MeetupFreeIntermediateDevelopers

About this event

AI Native Netherlands hosts an Amsterdam engineering meetup on what coding agents retain across sessions, using Claude Code with comparisons to Codex and Pi, followed by community discussion and networking.

AI Native Netherlands returns to Xebia Amsterdam for its final 2026 community meetup. The main technical session examines what a coding agent records during a session, what persists after context compaction, and how teams should distinguish session history from durable memory. The speaker will use Claude Code as the primary example, with focused comparisons to Codex and Pi.

The programme also covers how lost scope can make a once-correct observation misleading, plus practical choices about what should load automatically, be reviewed periodically, or be retrieved only when needed. Arrival, food and drinks begin at 18:00; the talk starts at 18:45, a second Xebia speaker is still to be confirmed, and open discussion and networking follow. The event is intended for software, platform and AI engineers, architects and technical leaders working with coding agents in real codebases.
