ACE August Meetup: Perfecting the Hybrid Workflow

Developing your AI-human co-creation loop

ACE (AI for Creatives & Entrepreneurs) gathers artists, creatives, technologists, and entrepreneurs working where art, technology, and AI meet. The August topic is Perfecting the Hybrid Workflow — a tactical session on when and how to hand the baton to AI without losing your artistic voice.

Rather than a lecture, this is a facilitated group discussion built around concrete prompts: what your specific co-creation loop actually looks like, how you keep creative-director status when negotiating among AI-generated options, and a group share on the one prompt framework or tool that genuinely changed your creative process. Organizers bring ice breakers and discussion prompts; attendees bring their own experience.

The published flow: doors at 6:15, mingling and introductions until 6:45, facilitated discussion from 6:50 to 7:50, conclusions and takeaways to 8:00, and closing networking until 8:15.

Finding the room: the group meets in Padawan on the 5th floor of STATION Austin, inside the Omni Hotel downtown. Enter the Omni, take the elevators near the lobby security desk to the 5th floor. Street metered parking and the Omni garage are both available. ACE describes its meetups as warm and collegial, open to all disciplines and experience levels.
