Austin Claude Code Meetup: Claude Design
About this event
The Austin Claude Code community meets at Capital Factory for an evening on Claude Design — how builders are using it, what time it actually saves, and where it fits in day-to-day work. Free, with food and networking.
Claude Design, from people actually using it
The Austin Claude Code meetup returns to Capital Factory with a single focus for this session: Claude Design. The organizers frame the questions plainly — how are builders using it, what time savings are they actually seeing, and how do you fold it into everyday work. The session is explicitly a response to attendee feedback from previous editions.
Schedule
- 6:00–6:25 p.m. — Doors, food and refreshments, networking with local builders
- 6:25–6:30 p.m. — Welcome
- 6:30–7:15 p.m. — Presentations
- 7:20 p.m. — Audience Q&A with the presenters
- 8:00 p.m. — Wrap up
Presenters are listed as TBA at the time of writing — the slot is confirmed but the lineup is not yet announced. Check the registration page closer to the date if the specific speakers matter to you.
Practical notes
Free to attend, though registration is approval-gated, so sign up ahead rather than walking in. The meetup is sponsored by STATION Austin, which operates inside Capital Factory at 701 Brazos St; the specific floor or room is not published, so allow a few minutes to find the space.
One thing worth knowing: the organizer's description still refers to this as the "August edition" — stale copy carried over from a previous month. The posted date and time are unambiguously Monday, September 14.
Organized by
Community-run meetups and beginner workshops for people building with Claude and other AI assistants, hosted at Austin venues for founders, developers, and curious newcomers.
