An Austin Forum panel examines how AI is changing education and workforce training, including useful applications, evidence of impact, failure modes, bias, and integrity.
AI across the learning lifecycle
Academic and industry panelists will examine AI in K–12 classrooms, higher education, professional development, and lifelong learning. The discussion will cover personalized learning and administrative support alongside academic dishonesty, weakened critical thinking, biased automated assessment, and tools that fail to deliver meaningful results.
In-person networking and snacks begin at 5:15 p.m.; the presentation runs from 6:15–7:30, followed by questions through 7:45. The event is at ACC Rio Grande’s Center for Government and Civic Service.
