Build Your First AI Agent: Hands-On Weekend Workshop (No Coding Required)

Three days, one working agent

Makersquare.ai runs this as an intensive rather than a lecture series: three consecutive full days with the explicit goal that participants leave with an AI agent they built themselves. The organizer frames it for founders, operators and product people who want AI doing real work — you pick a problem from your own job on day one and demo a working solution to the room on day three.

The three days

• Day 1 — a deployed agent. What an agent actually is (a goal, a set of tools, a loop), when an agent beats a plain automation, and building a first "scout" agent that searches, judges and emails a digest on a schedule so it keeps running after the workshop ends.
• Day 2 — your real work. Mapping an actual task, then building against your own data and tools rather than sample data. Covers safe access patterns: least privilege, draft-don't-send, and a live demonstration of prompt injection.
• Day 3 — make it a product. Moving from "works when I run it" to "runs without me" — wiring the agent into email, Slack or spreadsheets, understanding what it costs to operate, then a live demo.

The stated toolchain is Claude Code, the Claude API, Composio, GitHub Actions and Exa. No coding background is required — the organizer says attendees are working in a terminal before lunch on the first day.
