Claude Code 101 (Beginner Teaching Night)
About this event
A hands-on beginner workshop on using Claude Code from the terminal. Covers terminal fundamentals and walks the room through building a working tool — no prior coding experience required. Free, laptops needed.
A beginner-oriented teaching night from Makersquare.ai focused on getting people productive with Claude Code in the terminal. The session assumes no prior coding experience and starts with terminal basics before moving into the tool itself.
Rather than lecturing, the format walks the whole room through building one practical tool end to end, so attendees leave having actually shipped something rather than just watched a demo. This makes it a reasonable entry point for non-engineers who keep hearing about agentic coding tools but have not had a guided first run at one.
Hosted by Marliis and Ravi P. at Capital Factory, 701 Brazos St. Attendees should bring a laptop. The event is free and refreshments are provided.
