The international conference at the intersection of robotics and machine learning comes to Austin for four days — three days of peer-reviewed research and keynotes plus a full workshop day, across three downtown and campus venues.
A flagship robot-learning conference in Austin
CoRL is the annual international conference devoted to the intersection of robotics and machine learning — learned control policies, embodied AI, manipulation, perception, sim-to-real transfer, and the training and deployment problems that come with putting neural networks on physical hardware. It is one of the field's principal peer-reviewed venues, and the 2026 edition is being held in Austin with UT Austin's Texas Robotics as local host.
This is the single largest AI research gathering on Austin's 2026 calendar, and it brings several hundred robotics researchers into the city for a week.
Schedule and venues
- Main conference: Monday–Wednesday, November 9–11

- Venues: the conference is spread across three sites — the JW Marriott Austin (110 E 2nd Street), the Hilton Austin (500 E 4th Street), and Bass Hall (2350 Robert Dedman Drive) on the UT campus. Check the programme for which sessions run where.
