HOTA November: A Studio of One

WorkshopIntermediateBusinessDevelopers

About this event

The November session of the Austin AI Alliance's paid, hands-on HOTA series: build a one-person media studio out of AI agents and finish a real video, podcast, or infographic on your own topic in a single evening.

Make something real in one evening

This is the November session of HOTA (Human Orchestration of Tools and Agents), the Austin AI Alliance's ongoing training series. Each HOTA narrows to one tool, skill, or workflow and gives it enough time that attendees actually practice rather than watch a demo. The November topic is "A Studio of One": making video, podcasts, and infographics with a crew of AI agents.

The organizers' framing is that work which used to need a film crew, a designer, and a sound engineer now needs someone who can direct AI. You bring one idea of your own and leave with a finished piece — a video, a podcast episode, an infographic, or a set of social posts.

What gets covered

The session splits into two layers. The first is the generation layer: the AI agents now built directly into creative platforms, with Higgsfield, Runway, and Luma named as the working examples. The second is the orchestration layer that sits above them — running the whole stack from one place rather than tool-hopping, which is where the series' "human orchestration" theme comes in. Working from a single idea, you generate visuals, direct AI video, produce narration or podcast audio, and lay the result out into something finished.

Practical details

  • When: Wednesday, November 18, 5:30–8:30 p.m.
  • Where: The Center for Government and Civic Service, ACC Rio Grande Building 3000, 1218 West Avenue
  • Cost: $55 member / $85 non-member, 100 seats per tier

Sessions are deliberately small-format and aimed at professionals who want a working skill rather than an overview. This one is production-oriented, so expect to be making things rather than taking notes — bring a topic you actually care about.
