A free, beginner-friendly public workshop examining recent AI progress and what near-term changes could mean for work, crime, relationships, and everyday life.
Public workshop
This beginner-friendly session offers an accessible overview of current AI capabilities and the changes that may arrive over the next several years. The program considers possible effects on employment, online crime, personal relationships, and society, using live demonstrations and interactive forecasting exercises.
No technical background is required. The workshop runs from 6:00–7:30 p.m. at the Yarborough Branch of Austin Public Library.
