RoboBoston: 9th Annual Robot Block Party

MassRobotics fills a Seaport block with more than 50 robotics companies, university groups and student teams for a free public showcase of what the organisers call physical AI. The day opens with a sidewalk robot parade at 10:45am, then runs as a come-and-go block party until 4pm.
The Robot Block Party is the public flagship of RoboBoston, and 2026 is its ninth edition. MassRobotics runs it out of its Seaport home turf as an open, all-ages showcase of embodied AI systems.

What is there
More than 50 exhibitors, spanning robotics companies, universities and student teams. Expect hands-on robot interaction, live demonstrations and drone flying stations, under tents in the Seaport. Attendees can come and go across the afternoon.
2026 sponsors include Foundova and EF Explore America. Note that the STEM School Field Trip Day that has run alongside the party in past years is not being held in 2026.
Why it counts as AI
MassRobotics frames its work explicitly around physical AI: perception, planning and control models running on real hardware. If your interest is where models meet the world rather than the browser, this is the densest afternoon in Boston for it.

Independent nonprofit collective of robotics, AI and connected-device entrepreneurs based in Boston's Seaport. MassRobotics operates a startup cluster with shared prototyping, lab and robot testing space, and runs the annual RoboBoston festival along with technical career fairs and a residency programme for member startups.
