The Test Pyramid Survives. Assertions Don't: Testing AI in the Real World
About this event
A Denver technical session on evaluating AI systems, using LLM-as-a-judge patterns to rethink testing assertions across an AI test pyramid.
The Applied Machine Learning Collective of the Rockies hosts Elliot Sequeira for an in-person technical discussion of testing systems with language-model behavior. The session examines why conventional exact-output assertions break down for probabilistic AI features, and explores LLM-as-a-judge evaluation across unit, integration, and end-to-end layers. It is designed for engineers and quality practitioners working with AI-enabled products. Doors open at 6:30 PM, with pizza and soda provided. RSVP through the official Meetup page before attending.
Organized by
Volunteer-led Denver and Boulder professional community for hands-on artificial intelligence and machine learning learning, technical discussion, and practitioner networking.
