AI in Everyday Life: Understanding AI, In-Person Workshop

A free, beginner-friendly Houston Public Library workshop at the Heights Neighborhood Library explaining what AI is and where it already shows up in daily life.
Led by responsible-AI researcher Dr. Micarah Malone-Gawu (founder of CARAH.AI), this session uses live demonstrations, hands-on practice, and open discussion to introduce AI basics to community members of all ages and backgrounds. No prior tech experience is required, and devices are optional.
Part of a recurring Houston Public Library AI literacy series held at branches across the city.
