AI and Society London: AI Shaping Work, Cities and Everyday Life

MeetupFreeAll levelsGeneralBusinessResearchers

About this event

Free evening at Plexal Shoreditch opening with a framing talk on examining AI through people, place and society, then interactive discussion where attendees bring their own questions, plus cross-industry networking.

An evening built around discussion rather than presentation. It opens with a short framing talk on why this group examines AI through the lens of people, place and society, then moves into an interactive session where attendees raise their own questions.

The subject is UK-specific: how AI is reshaping work, urban development and daily life. Cross-industry networking follows.

The organisers are explicit that non-technical attendees are welcome, and the format is designed for it. That makes this a useful counterweight to the engineering-heavy end of the London AI calendar, and a reasonable entry point for people working in policy, planning, design or research who want to argue about the technology rather than build with it.

Free to attend, hosted at Plexal in Shoreditch.
