King's AI Summit: Agents of Science
About this event
One-day King’s College London summit on the opportunities, limits and responsible deployment of AI agents for scientific research, from literature review and experimental design to analysis and laboratory workflows.
King’s College London’s AI Summit brings together researchers, technologists, healthcare professionals and innovators to examine AI agents in science. The programme considers how agents can support literature reviews, hypothesis generation, experimental design, data analysis and laboratory workflows.
Sessions will also address the limits of these systems, their implications for trust, safety and governance, and the role of human expertise and oversight. The stated aim is to identify priorities for AI that can support more collaborative, reproducible research across fields including engineering, physics, chemistry, biomedicine and health. The full agenda is due in mid-October.
