Trustworthiness and Safety in Generative AI
About this event
Full-day BCS Artificial Intelligence Specialist Group colloquium bringing researchers and practitioners together on the scientific, engineering and societal dimensions of trustworthy generative AI systems.
A day-long colloquium run by the BCS Artificial Intelligence Specialist Group at the BCS London office.
The stated aim is to create a forum for cutting-edge advances and emerging challenges in the trustworthiness and safety of generative AI. The programme spans three dimensions deliberately: the scientific questions, the engineering practices that follow from them, and the societal consequences of deploying systems whose behaviour cannot be fully specified in advance.
The audience mixes academic researchers with practitioners, which is the point of the colloquium format. Sessions run from 09:30 to 17:00.
Paid, with concessionary rates for BCS members and students. Refunds are available until noon on Friday 4 September. Ages 16 and over.
Organized by
The UK professional body for information technology. Its specialist groups, including the Artificial Intelligence SG and Business Change SG, run talks and colloquia at the BCS London office.
