Kong's two day technical conference in Downtown Los Angeles on governing APIs, large language models and agents in production, with tracks on agentic architecture, AI governance and token cost management.
Kong brings its API and AI Summit to the InterContinental in Downtown Los Angeles for two days aimed squarely at engineers and architects running AI systems in production.
The programme is organised into five tracks, of which roughly half are explicitly AI focused: AI governance, APIs for the AI era, agentic architecture best practices, token cost management, and context engineering. Alongside the talks there are hands on labs building with AI gateway and orchestration tooling, plus keynotes and product announcements.
The framing is practical infrastructure rather than research: how traffic to models and agents gets routed, secured, observed, rate limited and paid for once it leaves the prototype stage. That makes it one of the more directly useful events in the region for platform and infrastructure teams.
An optional certification training add on is available at a higher ticket tier. Daily start and end times were not published at the time of verification.
