AI as a Product Feature

MeetupFreeIntermediateDevelopersBusiness

About this event

Misfit Labs and The LAB Miami host an evening discussion on deciding where AI genuinely belongs in a product, covering problem selection, trustworthy UX, engineering tradeoffs, and how product and engineering teams ship AI features together.

The framing for this session is that the hard question is no longer whether to put AI in a product, but where AI actually creates customer value. The organisers argue that too many teams treat AI as a feature to bolt on rather than a problem to solve, producing products that look innovative but do not improve the customer experience.

The discussion covers how to identify customer problems genuinely well suited to AI, how to design AI experiences users understand and trust, the engineering tradeoffs behind those product decisions, and how product and engineering functions collaborate to take AI features from concept into production.

Speakers are Ben Sharpe, an Apple and Microsoft alum, former CTO at CoinList and founder of CodeBake, and Kyle Carriedo, managing partner and co-founder of Misfit Labs and a former senior engineer at Apple. The intended audience is founders, product managers, CTOs, engineers, and designers building AI powered products.

The exact address is not published on the listing. The organisers share the Wynwood area venue with attendees after registration is approved, so register ahead rather than planning to walk in.
