Model Thinking Workshop: Configuring an LLM for KYC Email Processing
About this event
A full-day hands-on datacraft workshop with the startup SkyDot, configuring a language model to process know-your-customer emails using a synthetic dataset rebuilt from real cases.
A full-day hands-on workshop in datacraft's recurring Model Thinking format, run jointly with SkyDot, a startup specialising in know-your-customer case processing.
The session is led by Hugo Penichou, SkyDot's CTO and co-founder. Participants work on a genuine field problem rather than a toy example: configuring a language model to handle KYC email traffic, where the compliance stakes make error tolerance low and the input is messy unstructured correspondence.
The work is done on a synthetic dataset reconstructed from real KYC emails, which preserves the awkwardness of the real data without exposing customer information. The objective across the day is to build a library of robust skills and prompts that hold up in automated processing rather than a single working prompt.
The workshop runs 09:00 to 17:00 in French. Note that datacraft operates as a members' club, so places may be limited to members and invited guests even though no fee is listed.
Organized by
Paris members' club for data scientists and AI practitioners, running technical workshops, peer sessions and the Labelia responsible-AI community meetups.
