About this event
A free two-day Université Paris 8 conference on sustainable and responsible AI, green computing and ethics, with research sessions spanning energy-aware systems, education, culture and public policy.
The first IA & Informatique Verte conference is a two-day academic gathering at Université Paris 8 in Saint-Denis. Its programme connects artificial intelligence with green computing, responsible design, digital sobriety and the social consequences of AI.
Sessions include sustainable AI for mobility and smart cities, energy efficiency across data pipelines, responsible and accessible AI in education, generative and agentic systems, and creative approaches to computing. The programme lists researchers, artists and professionals from France and abroad, including presentations on energy-aware machine learning, AI governance and ecological evaluation of models.
The official event page gives a 09:00 start on 24 September and an 18:00 finish on 25 September at the Maison de la Recherche, Université Paris 8. Admission is free and open to all; the same official page hosts the registration form, which asks for contact and participant information.
