AI and Health: Issues and Perspectives for AI in Healthcare

About this event

The opening debate of a new cycle at the Academie Nationale de Medecine on AI tools in the service of patients, run by the Fondation de l'Academie de Medecine. Free with registration.

The inaugural session of a new cycle at the Academie Nationale de Medecine titled IA et Sante: des outils au service du patient, artificial intelligence tools in the service of the patient.

The framing is deliberately clinical rather than technological. Where most AI-in-health events are organised around model capability, this cycle is organised around what actually reaches the patient: which tools have made it into practice, what they change in the care relationship, and what the outlook is for the ones still in trials.

The session is organised by the Fondation de l'Academie de Medecine and held in the Academie's own building on Rue Bonaparte in the 6th arrondissement, a setting that draws a mix of practising clinicians, researchers and health policy figures rather than a technology industry crowd.

The afternoon runs three hours. Attendance is free but registration is required, and this is the first of a recurring series, so the cycle is worth following.
