SGAP 2026: A Scientist's Guide to AI

WorkshopFreeIntermediateResearchersStudents

About this event

Three days of training and talks at Inria Paris on machine learning and AI for scientists who are not computer science specialists: statistical learning with scikit-learn, deep learning on scientific data, and AI applied to climate, genomics, imaging and physics.

Day 1 covers statistical learning with hands-on Python and scikit-learn (Gael Varoquaux, Guillaume Lemaitre). Day 2 covers deep learning and complex scientific data (Vicky Kalogeiton, Thomas Moreau, Ernest Mordret). Day 3 presents AI across the sciences: climate, genomics, medical imaging, quantum physics, cosmology and soft matter. Organised by researchers from ENS-PSL and Inria MIND with support from DIM AI4IDF.

At Inria Paris, 48 rue Barrault, 09:00 to 17:00 each day. Aimed at researchers, postdocs and doctoral students mainly in Ile-de-France. Registration is open on the conference site, with limited seats for hands-on workshops. No price is stated on the page.
