Applied AI Hackathon
About this event
One-day San Diego hackathon for builders tackling a real operational problem from a personal-injury law firm, with a $5,000 prize pool, technical and legal-industry judges, meals and a finalist pitch session.
Swans is running this one-day Applied AI Hackathon alongside the Law-di-gras conference at Rancho Bernardo Inn. Participants work on one operational challenge supplied by a personal-injury firm, then submit before a live finalist selection and pitch round.
The published schedule begins with check-in and challenge kickoff at 8:00am, includes two coding sessions and lunch, and closes after top finalists present their solutions. Judges include leaders from high-growth law firms, Swans engineers and people building venture-backed legal AI products. The event welcomes software, AI and ML engineers, founders, and no-code builders. No computer-science degree or legal background is required.
Registration uses a $10 refundable deposit that reserves food, drinks and, if selected, a shuttle seat. Participants receive it back when they check in. Confirm travel and remaining capacity with the official registration page.
