Bridging Biomedical Breakthroughs Summit: AI in Biomedical Innovation
About this event
Fourth annual half-day UC San Diego summit on how AI is accelerating biomedical innovation across therapeutics, diagnostics and medical imaging, with a CEO fireside chat, a venture panel, faculty pitches and a networking reception.
The UC San Diego School of Biological Sciences convenes this summit with the Office of Innovation and Commercialization and the School of Medicine, on how artificial intelligence is changing the path from biomedical research to commercial product.
The afternoon programme covers applications across therapeutics discovery, diagnostics and medical imaging, and pairs that with the commercialisation side: a fireside chat with a company chief executive, a venture capital panel, and pitches from UC San Diego faculty working on translatable innovations. A networking reception closes the event.
Registration is open to industry, faculty, staff, alumni, postdocs and students, and the event is free.
One caveat: the specific building on the UC San Diego campus had not been announced at the time of listing. The prior edition was held in the Kavli Auditorium at Tata Hall. Check the registration page nearer the date for the confirmed location.
