A 9Zero AI Cluster session in San Francisco's Financial District on neuromorphic computing and what brain-inspired architectures offer for reducing AI energy consumption.
9Zero's AI Cluster meetup series runs out of its Climate Innovation Hub on California Street. This session looks at neuromorphic computing: hardware and algorithmic approaches modelled on how biological neural systems process information, and specifically what they offer for cutting the energy cost of AI inference.
Energy consumption has become a genuine constraint on AI deployment rather than a talking point, which makes the intersection of neuromorphic architectures and practical efficiency work relevant well beyond a research audience.
