Working with AI: Unit Tests

MeetupFreeIntermediateDevelopers

About this event

A free weekly San Francisco developers round table, this week on what LLMs do to test coverage and whether generated tests reduce or quietly add technical debt.

Generated tests are easy to produce and hard to trust. This session of the San Francisco Working with AI / Developers Interest Group looks at how LLMs are changing test suites: coverage that goes up while confidence does not, tests that assert the implementation rather than the behaviour, and where generated tests have genuinely paid off.

Weekly format as usual. Networking and social from 6:00 to 6:30, then an open developers round table from 6:30 to 7:30.

Held at O'Reilly's Pub in Haight-Ashbury. Free to attend, drinks at the bar.

A San Francisco Meetup group running a free weekly developers round table for engineers who use LLM-powered coding tools in their day to day work. Each session takes a single theme and opens the floor to practitioner experience rather than sponsored talks.
