AI in Government Panel: Seattle AI Week
About this event
A Seattle AI Week panel at AI House on how public agencies are actually adopting AI, covering procurement, policy and practical deployment in government, with local investors and journalists moderating the conversation.
This Seattle AI Week session at AI House turns to a question the vendor track usually skips: how government actually adopts AI, and what slows it down.
The panel is convened by a group drawn from Seattle's investor and technology-press community, including Kirby Winfield and Nate Bek alongside Jen Haller. The discussion centres on public-sector AI deployment, the policy and procurement environment around it, and where the practical friction sits between what agencies want to do and what they can currently buy and run.
The session runs 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM on the second day of Seattle AI Week, at AI House on Pier 70. Admission is free, but the event was showing as sold out on its registration page at the time of listing. It is worth joining the waitlist through the Luma page, since released spots are common for free events of this size.
