The UNSW Founders Program runs this free weekly build club for people working with AI. Two hours on the Kensington campus, starting with focused project work and finishing with networking and a curated Focused AI Hour conversation.
A weekly AI meetup and build club, held on 15 September 2026 at the Michael Crouch Innovation Centre, UNSW Kensington, from 17:00 to 19:00.
The format
The session opens with an hour of building. Attendees work on an AI project of their own choosing in a shared space. From 18:00 the format loosens into networking, alongside the Focused AI Hour, a curated discussion on a selected topic.
Who it suits
Students, founders and anyone building with AI. No cost to attend, and no prior attendance required, so a first-time visitor fits in as easily as a regular.
Organized by
UNSW's startup and entrepreneurship programme. It runs a weekly AI meetup and build club on campus for students and the wider community.
