The October meeting of the Austin Deep Learning Journal Club, the group's monthly first-Tuesday gathering for machine learning practitioners and researchers who want to engage with research at more than headline depth.
The format holds steady month to month: members vote on which publications to cover, everyone reads the selected paper beforehand, and the session runs two talks built around discussion rather than presentation. Attendees who have implemented something related are encouraged to show it and collect feedback from the room.
