Obvious — an applied AI research lab — runs Frontier Table as a deliberately small evening for founders and operators. There is no stage and no slide deck marathon: the lab opens by walking through the operating model it uses internally, then the table works the questions through together over the course of the evening.

The throughline is what AI acceleration does to company-building as a discipline. If a small team can now ship what used to take a department, what is the right shape for that team? Where does defensibility actually come from once the build cost of a feature collapses? What does a moat mean when a competitor can replicate your surface area in a weekend?

Who it suits

Founders and senior operators who are already living these trade-offs rather than theorising about them. Attendance is capped to keep the conversation workable, so expect a table rather than an audience.
