About this event
A free 90-minute UT workshop where instructors move from discussing responsible AI to actually drafting the artefact they need — a syllabus AI statement, an accommodation policy, or a redesigned assignment — with facilitators on hand.
From principle to paperwork
Most sessions about generative AI in teaching stop at the discussion. This one is built to end with something written. After an opening conversation about responsible AI use, participants work alongside facilitators to draft one concrete artefact: a syllabus AI statement, an accommodation policy, or a specific assignment reworked for a world where students have these tools.
Who runs it
The workshop is jointly run by UT's Office of Academic Technology and UT Libraries, and takes place in Learning Lab 3 (PCL 2.350) inside the Perry-Castañeda Library. Coffee and snacks are provided.
Before you go
This session is open to UT faculty and instructors — it is not general-public programming, so it is worth knowing that before you plan around it. Registration is through a Google Form rather than the calendar listing itself, and the workshop is free.
