Berlin Physical AI Workshop and Meetup

About this event

A Saturday afternoon at MotionLab.Berlin with lightning talks from local AI, ML and computer vision practitioners, followed by a hands-on FiftyOne workshop on curating robotics and sensor datasets and evaluating vision models.

Physical AI is the part of the field where the data is messy in ways language data is not: sensor streams, multi-camera rigs, robot trajectories, and labels that are wrong in correlated ways.

The afternoon opens with lightning talks from Berlin AI, ML and computer vision practitioners, then moves into a hands-on workshop using FiftyOne, the open-source toolkit for visual datasets. The workshop covers curating robotics and sensor datasets and evaluating vision model performance against them, which is the work that determines whether a perception stack behaves outside the lab.

Run by Voxel51, who maintain FiftyOne, co-presented with Nebius. Held at MotionLab.Berlin in Halle 20 on Bouchestrasse, a hardware and robotics makerspace, which is the right setting for the subject.

Free to attend. Bring a laptop if you want to follow the workshop rather than watch it.

Note that Voxel51 also runs a Berlin Physical AI, ML and Computer Vision meetup the evening before, on 25 September at w3.hub. The two are separate events.
