6:00 PM – 9:00 PM EDT
From AI User to AI Builder: Base44 x AI Collective Miami
About this event
A hands-on build workshop at FIU where The AI Collective and Base44 walk attendees from prompting to shipping. Participants prototype a working application on an AI-native platform that requires no coding, then demo it to the room.
The pitch behind this workshop is the gap between using AI and building with it. Most people use AI to write, research, brainstorm, or summarise. The next step, as the organisers frame it, is turning ideas into products, automating workflows, and creating tools that did not exist before.
The session is built around Base44, an AI-native platform for building software without writing code. Attendees work through identifying problems worth solving with AI, moving past prompting into building, a prompt framework for structuring AI-powered applications, and rapid prototyping of tools, workflows, and automations.
The agenda is tightly run. Doors and networking open at 6:00pm, introductions at 6:30pm, a Base44 platform demo at 6:45pm, a build session from 7:15pm, show and tell at 8:30pm, and a networking close at 9:00pm. Bring a laptop.
All experience levels are welcome and food and drink are provided. One caveat worth knowing: space at these community events is genuinely limited and the organisers note they cannot accept every applicant, so register early and reapply if you miss out. Held on the FIU campus.
Organized by
Global community of AI builders and founders running local chapters. The Miami chapter hosts hands-on build workshops and demo nights, often on university campuses.
