Build Your Website Tonight With AI: Complete Beginners

A beginner workshop in the Quartier Latin where participants with no coding background ship a live website in two hours by working alongside an AI assistant.

The facilitator is Thomas Bourgeois, an engineer with roughly twenty years of coding experience including several years on AI applications. The session explains in plain terms how the underlying model works, then guides participants through generating a personalised site, editing some of its code by hand, and publishing it live.

Everyone finishes with a functioning site reachable through a QR code and a shareable link.

Requirements are a laptop and a free GitHub account created in advance. This August occurrence is capped at 30 participants and runs in the salle Marie Curie. The session also serves as an on-ramp to the Cours Socrate evening programming course.

This is a recurring series, roughly every two weeks on Mondays. The organiser also runs online sessions, which are separate from this in-person occurrence.
