Ninety-minute evening session at the University of San Diego on AI startup opportunities, venture and investment strategy, and the privacy and intellectual property questions founders run into when building AI products.
The San Diego and Imperial SBDC Network runs this session for founders and prospective founders evaluating AI business ideas.
The programme moves from where the genuine openings currently sit for new AI ventures, through how investors are assessing AI companies and what that means for how a company is positioned, into the legal terrain that catches teams out: data privacy obligations, and who owns what when models are trained on third-party or customer data.
Aimed at early-stage founders, technical people considering a company, and small business owners weighing an AI product line. No technical prerequisite.
Held in the Nexus Theatre at the Knauss Center for Business Education on the USD campus. Free to attend and parking is free.
