K-16 Regional AI Convening: Work Ready in the Age of AI
About this event
Free regional convening at San Diego Mesa College for educators, administrators, employers and workforce partners on aligning learning pathways and entry-level talent preparation with an AI-enabled economy.
The Border Region Talent Pipeline K-16 Collaborative brings educators and workforce partners together at San Diego Mesa College to examine how artificial intelligence is changing the regional labor market and what that means for career preparation.
The program includes local workforce data, an industry panel, an educator panel and breakout discussions. It is aimed at high-school, adult-education, community-college and university educators and administrators, while employers can participate in the industry-focused portion. The focus is practical: the skills employers seek, curriculum and pathway alignment, and preparing students for AI-enabled work.
Registration is free, including parking, breakfast and lunch, but is capacity-controlled and requires an interest form followed by confirmation from the organizers.
Organized by
Regional education and workforce partnership connecting San Diego and Imperial County educators, employers and institutions around career pathways and workforce readiness.
