AI-Powered Women Seattle hosts this Seattle AI Week fireside conversation on a question that gets less attention than capability benchmarks: how do you decide which AI tools to trust?
The conversation pairs Liat Ben-Zur, former corporate vice president at Microsoft and an AI governance advisor, with Mary Jesse, CEO of ACME Brains. The framing draws on Deloitte research showing women's generative AI adoption tripled in a single year, and uses that as a way into the wider adoption and trust gap. The argument the session advances is that discernment, knowing what to believe about a tool's claims, is becoming the scarce leadership skill.
The published agenda runs doors and networking from 6:00 PM, then a moderated conversation with audience questions from 6:30 to 7:45 PM. Attendees are promised one concrete practice for evaluating and adopting AI tools.
