A free, in-person AI automation hackathon for university students in Camperdown. Teams build with n8n over a weekend, supported by mentors, and pitch their projects for cash prizes and n8n Cloud Pro access.
n8n's Sydney university hackathon brings students together to build AI automations in teams of two to four. It is open to students from any university and welcomes technical and non-technical participants, including people who need help finding a team.
Team formation runs on Thursday 10 September, followed by a Friday n8n basics workshop. The main in-person hackathon takes place Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 September, with mentor support, free lunch and snacks, and Sunday demonstrations before a live panel. Projects are judged on creativity, AI use, functionality and presentation. The specific Camperdown venue is shared with registrants.
