An hour-long panel on how to preserve critical thinking and creativity as artificial intelligence expands into more of daily life. Presented in the Sydney Opera House Talks and Ideas strand with the University of Sydney as part of Sydney Ideas, and open to all ages.

The question
The session frames a choice that is often presented as binary: total adoption of AI on one side, wholesale rejection on the other. The panel examines what sits between those poles, and what it takes to keep critical thinking and creativity intact as AI systems spread.
