AI-Powered Women: Washington DC Chapter Launch
About this event
The launch event for the Washington chapter of AI-Powered Women at the Georgetown Neighborhood Library, with structured AI Speed Connections pairing rounds, a facilitated community conversation and a live vote on future topics.
AI-Powered Women launches its Washington chapter with an evening at the Georgetown Neighborhood Library, expecting 75 to 100 attendees.
The format is deliberately participatory rather than presentational. "AI Speed Connections" runs structured pairing rounds so attendees actually meet a range of people rather than talking to whoever they arrived with. That is followed by a facilitated community conversation and a live vote on what the chapter should programme going forward, plus volunteer recruitment for people who want to help shape it.
Because it is a launch, the agenda is about setting direction rather than delivering technical content. If you want a say in what a new local AI community focuses on, this is the session where that gets decided.
Hosted by Shamsi Mumtahina Momo and Sara Kleiman. Free to attend.
