The Future of Trust: Artificial Intelligence in Fraud

ConferenceFreeAll levelsGeneralBusinessResearchers

About this event

Day one of the National Consumers League's two-day conference at GW's Jack Morton Auditorium, focused on AI-enabled fraud and what consumer protection looks like when the tools of deception get much cheaper.

The National Consumers League, a consumer advocacy organisation founded in 1899, convenes the first day of a two-day conference at George Washington University's Jack Morton Auditorium.

This day is given over to artificial intelligence in fraud: how generative tools change the economics of scams, what synthetic voice and video mean for verification, and where existing consumer protection frameworks fall short. The audience is a deliberate mix of policymakers, consumer advocates, industry representatives and technologists, which is the point of running it as a cross-sector dialogue rather than an industry event.

Day two, on September 24, covers AI in healthcare and is listed separately. The two days are separately registerable, so you can attend either or both.

Session start and end times and pricing are not published on the listing; register through Eventbrite and confirm details with the organiser. The venue is on 21st Street NW in Foggy Bottom, near Foggy Bottom and Farragut West Metro stations.
