AI4SCIENCE@SCAI Seminar #3: Trustworthy AI for Cosmology

MeetupFreeAdvancedResearchersDevelopersStudents

About this event

A hybrid research seminar on trustworthy AI for cosmology, covering auditable inference and hybrid neural-numerical solvers for high-accuracy simulations of galaxy surveys.

SCAI's third AI4Science seminar examines how machine learning can accelerate cosmological research without compromising reliability. Tristan Hoellinger of the Institut d'Astrophysique de Paris will discuss methods for detecting modelling errors in simulation-based inference and a hybrid neural-numerical approach to N-body simulations.

The in-person session is held in the Amphithéâtre Durand at the Sorbonne Cluster for Artificial Intelligence, with online participation also available. Registration is mandatory and the official form lets participants choose on-site or online attendance. It is aimed at researchers and technically minded attendees interested in AI for scientific discovery.
