Good Vibes with OpenSource AI: Monthly Meeting
About this event
The Northern Virginia Linux Users Group's recurring Saturday morning session on open source AI tooling and models, held at the Mary Riley Styles Public Library in Falls Church.
The Northern Virginia Linux Users Group runs this monthly Saturday morning session on open source artificial intelligence.
NoVaLUG is a long-running free and open source software community, and the group's orientation shows in the framing: the focus is on models and tooling you can actually run, inspect and modify yourself, rather than API access to hosted systems. That makes it one of the few regular local sessions aimed at self-hosted and open-weight AI work.
Format follows the LUG norm of informal presentation and group discussion, and the group welcomes attendees across experience levels.
The session starts at 10:00 at the Mary Riley Styles Public Library in Falls Church. An end time is not published on the listing, and LUG meetings are free to attend. This is a recurring monthly series, so check the organiser page for later dates.
