Johns Hopkins brings its Next Conversations series to the Bloomberg Center on Pennsylvania Avenue for a public evening on AI governance and accountability.
The discussion asks who writes rules for artificial intelligence, who bears the consequences when systems fail, and what responsibility research universities have in shaping public-facing AI. Its four-person panel combines scholarship, policy, technology, and journalism, including Stuart Russell, Dean Ball, Gillian Hadfield, and moderator Eugene Scott.
The official registration page accepts attendees with no Hopkins affiliation. The free event is held in the Bloomberg Center theater, at 555 Pennsylvania Avenue NW, and registration is required.
