The Upskilling Labs closes its civics and elections build cycle at the MLK Jr. Memorial Library with project demos, a keynote, a moderated panel and the kickoff of the Q4 cycle.
The Upskilling Labs organises its programming into quarterly build cycles, and this summit both closes one and opens the next.
The first half showcases what teams built during the civics and elections cycle, in which small groups developed AI-enabled projects on voting, civic information and elections infrastructure and presented them to invited experts. Demos are the substance of the evening.
Schedule runs tabling and mingling from 4:30, kickoff at 5:00, keynote at 5:15, build cycle project demos at 5:45, a moderated panel at 6:45, more tabling at 7:30 and a happy hour from 8:00.
Two things were not yet announced at the time of listing: the panel topic and the Q4 build cycle theme. Both should be published closer to the date. The summit is free and takes place at the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Library downtown.
